Engineering Ceramics processing, heat treatment of silicon nitride and sialon based ceramics and glasses with different sintering additives.

The testing of mechanical and chemical properties, oxidation, including hardness, toughness, strength,  X-ray analysis by powder methods using Hägg-Guinier focusing camera, Philiphs Powder diffractometer. Microstructural analysis by using Hitachi Scanning Electron Microscope, operating both in secondary and back scattered imaging modes for engineering ceramics.
